Please read these terms and conditions which apply to all clients.
By booking an appointment it is considered they have been read and agreed.
Contacting Life Navigation
Given the nature of the business phone calls may not be answered immediately. Mobiles and phones are generally turned off during sessions. Access to the business premises is also restricted if there is a session in progress. This prevents any interruptions and allows privacy for each client. The best way to get in contact is by email and this will be responded to as soon as possible.
It is requested that all mobile phones or similar equipment be turned off during sessions to prevent interruptions.
No CCTV or any recording devices are used during any therapy sessions or piano lessons.
All clients must be at least 18 years old, otherwise consent must be given by a parent or guardian and who should also attend sessions unless prior agreement.
No one can be treated who is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Any client who is being treated for any diagnosed psychiatric condition, psychological illness or epilepsy must have prior consent from medical professional.
If suffering from suicidal tendencies, please contact the Samaritans.
Please give 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to do so allows Life Navigation Ltd to reserve the right to charge for the session unless the circumstances are subsequently deemed by Life Navigation Ltd to be extenuating.
Please try to arrive on time. If it is possible, contact Life Navigation Ltd to explain any delays as there may be other clients booked in for the day. It might be necessary to reschedule and this will be at the discretion of Life Navigation Ltd.
There is off road parking at Hewlands Cottage.
After arrival the gate will be closed for security purposes and to prevent interruptions. Parking is, however, at the client’s own risk.
Standards of behaviour
All clients will be given the courtesy of respect at all times and Life Navigation Ltd reserve the right to cease treatment if it is deemed the client is demonstrating unreasonable behaviour. This is solely at the discretion of Life Navigation Ltd.
It is impossible to guarantee any treatment as cures as all clients are different with specific needs. These will be discussed prior to any treatment. It is essential that therapist and client are comfortable exploring the best approach to treatment with complete transparency to cost and duration of sessions over a pre-determined period. Clients are never made to do anything against their will.
The strictest confidentiality is observed at all times.
However, Life Navigation Ltd reserve the right to cease treatment if it becomes aware of criminality or that for the safety of the client it is considered that treatment should be sought elsewhere. Confidentiality will be maintained, however.
Therapy Consultations and Fees
An initial consultation of 30 minutes is free.
Consideration will be given to the suitability of treatment deemed necessary for the prospective client and communicated clearly.
If this is acceptable the client will be asked to complete a consent form which will be held on file.
Fees are £50 per hour thereafter but for a continuous 2 hour session the fees are £80.
For relaxation with piano lessons fees are just £20 for 45 minutes.
Consultation fee changes
A review of fees will be taken annually but never changed during a course of treatment. Fees will always be quoted clearly prior to any consent to proceed.
An invoice will be raised and emailed or posted (depending on the client’s preference) and terms of credit are 14 days from the date of the session unless otherwise agreed by Life Navigation Ltd. Life Navigation Ltd reserve the right to cease treatment in the event that terms of credit are not honoured by the client.
